Ulrich Bez is determined to beat his old masters to market by getting the Aston Rapide out the door before Porsche puts the Panamera on sale in 2009. Bez, of course, has a running start on the Porschies, as the Panamera concept debuted at Detroit back in January. "We're not taking any orders yet. But the car will be built," says Bez. He then goes on on to confirm, "The Rapide will reach the market before the Panamera." Which, when translated from Bez' native tongue, means, "We're gonna kick those damn Volksie-cronies' asses if it breaks our thumbs and gives us cholera."
