Bermudans Shorted? Gov't to Consider Limiting Number of Cars

Due to an explosion in the amount of Bermudan vehicle registrations, the government will soon consider banning car ownership for single people, married couples without children, and expatriates working on three-year contracts. They're also considering again outlawing the used car market, which was established eleven years ago. Previously, cars had to be destroyed or shipped off the island. The review suggests increased car pooling, with incentives to those who engage in it, as well as improved bus service for private schoolchildren. Our question, however, is this: will having a child to get a car become the new marrying for one's Green Card?
