Avantime! Ouais!

The Renault Avantime was a rather strange car. Essentially a two-door Euro-style people-carrier, its doors featured a double hinge, allowing ingress and egress in tight spaces. But it was too expensive and too weird, even for the French, and well under 10,000 were produced between 2001 and 2003. Still, it packed 250 horsepower and a six-speed manual. Still, we're big fans of French weirdness, and the Avantime is suitably weird to have attracted a cult following. So much so that there's even an Avantime Gallery site.
