Andy Willman did a review of the last Corrado in Britain, too. He knew to pick good cars. Also, glad someone else pointed out the great music in this clip! Read more
I think we can chalk weight up to regulations, which is why I didn't bring it up as a comparison point. At most, the older cars mentioned have 2 airbags and have weaker structures, so all that adds weight. You could probably blame taller cars on pedestrian safety rules, too. Read more
Something's wrong here. Oh yeah, it has two headlights and Hank Moody behind the wheel. Read more
The museum saved it from being under a tarp in Jordan. It's not being restored because the state the car is in now is part of its history and it's been deemed important to preserve that. Having seen it up close, I don't think I'd want anyone turning it into a Pebble Beach-worthy 600. Read more
Never heard one that was that informal, but yes, I vaguely remember talking alarms. And that's one thing that should stay in the past. Read more

With my time and location restraints, I didn't have a chance to take it off road. Given the opportunity, and I've seen what it can do, I'd love to give it a try. Read more
I did make this one tough, but had the C70 been priced more down to earth I would go for it. But now I just look for nice Corrados all the time and I'm a sucker for a green SLC. Or maybe a purple one. Read more
Ah, yes, I should clarify: "... until VW drops a 2.0-liter turbo in to make a GTI wagon." That's a 2.0T in what is otherwise a standard Jetta SW. Fun, though. Read more
The DRL light is definitely in the running for a Useless Light award. At least it's small and forgettable. Read more
