These guys are not necessarily dogfighting, but the A-4 was a stout and relatively simple machine. They seem to run like tops but there are parts scarcity. I think when ATAC had them the generators were an issue. IIRC Draken got a ton of spare parts with its Kiwi Skyhawks and they only took a portion of the fleet. Read more

Yeah, that cluster is so tight, in another pic (below) you can see the Pantsir looking like it could hit one of the radars or TELs if it were to engage a very low flying target. Of course the S-400 system is there for “unique purposes” so its placement is just another reminder of that.
