There’s a good event year round at Pasteiners, 14 and Woodward in Royal Oak. Lingenfelter is closer to you, and also hosts C&C most if not all summer Saturday mornings. A week from this Saturday I think they’re having an open house, where you can view their impressive collection. Read more
My babies are now 13, 15, and 16. My wife wanted a fourth, but three’s the max for me. (I can put three in the RX-8.) Read more
They added quite a bit of bracing under the car. Some of this is visible in the photos from Road & Track. I haven’t driven a CRX Si with a roof in over 30 years, so I really can’t compare them. I’m sure it flexes significantly more, if much less than a GM convertible I owned in the 80s. Read more
Interior photo taken by the original owner. He had the piping added when the seats were redone a few years ago, because he used to have similar piping on his Alfas.

I’m not sure the U.S. is the primary target for off-road capability. Many years Mercedes has offered two-speed transfer cases in the M and GL in Europe and elsewhere, but not here. Read more
The power hard top ought to do something for the value. It added a monstrous $20k to the original purchase price, for a $65k total. Read more
It took me a few moments to realize I wasn’t actually looking at a VW. In the interim, I was confused, as I didn’t think they’d made such large, beneficial changes to the exterior of the Golf SW. I’m liking the looks of the SEAT. Read more
