You aren’t getting what I am saying. The Zone Reps can offer to pay for something with factory money. And they do from time to time. Speaking to a zone rep won’t guarantee you get anything but the zone rep has more authority ($) than the 800# operator.

Yes. I was mainly addressing the 800# and how calling it will almost never get you anywhere. A well-written letter to the right person can work wonders. The hard part is finding who to send it to and knowing how to write the letter (which would be out of reach for most people). Read more
