Man my apologies I totally missed out on that. Which is odd, I usually take a scroll through at the end of the day. But nice write up, def enjoyed it! Keep them coming throughout the season.  Read more

I’ve got tickets to see Supercross when they come to my city in a few months...to say I’m excited is an understatement!

Tried to post about this while at the gym this morning, it showed posted on mobile but now it isn’t here. Even linked the write-up you gave Supercross (excellent piece by the way!)

I was a motocross and supercross fan in the 80s. Fans had access to stars like Bob Hannah and Rick Johnson. I met them all. I attended a few Supercross events in the 90s when McGrath was king. Then I was busy and lost interest. About three years ago I picked it back up. So glad I did. The racing is awesome. I have Read more

I’ve taken my kids to an Arenacross race in Madison, WI.  It was a lot of fun.  As for the racing, everyone’s on top of each other the whole time.  I honestly don’t know how they run that type of race in such a small space.   Read more

The perfect holdover until MotoGP starts again. But I’m not sure if I can stand to watch Roczen get injured again...

I am a big Dungey fan and it was great to see him win a ton and take on Villipoto but it was a little dull.  Right now there are 3 really good riders that can take it and no clear options for the title.  It’s like the first half of the 2012 F1 season when a ton of good drivers were winning before Red Bull figured out Read more

As a fan of both Villopoto and Dungey, I’m left in kind of a weird limbo state right now. There’s nobody I’m really rooting for. There are a couple of guys I’m rooting against, but that’s not as much fun. I’ve actually had more fun going back and re-watching some of the Ryan seasons (damn 2011 was great!) lately Read more

2 or 4, but nobody rides the 2 anymore because it isn’t really competitive. You just can’t beat the torque monster that is the 4-stroke, especially when guys are jumping like a zillion feet 6 feet out of a corner now Read more

I’m an older guy, so when Stewart finally bowed out, I gotta little bored, especially as the winning streaks were being passed from Villopoto to Dungey. I just want Roczen to stay healthy to see how good he can actually be. The gate drop is one of the greatest moments in any sport. Love it.  Read more

Those guys are gobsmackingly spectacular, with “You gotta be fucking kidding me, right?” moments in each ride. Read more

I recognized that name Tomac and sure enough, he is the son of one of my mountain biking idols growing up, John Tomac!

I miss James Stewart, funny you didnt mention his name, though maybe not since the fiasco that happened and caused him to leave the sport.  McGrath was so awesome, it became too easy like Schumacher in F1. Read more

Love me some supercross! I’m rooting for Barcia and Plessinger, let’s go Team Yamaha!

Not really, since usually one of the available compounds is less than ideal, and therefore ignored by most teams during the weekend. Therefore: prime (hard) & option (soft) should still occasionally be heard. Read more
