The good news about that picture is that it shows one less of those awful mid 80's Oldsmobile Cutlasses is off the road. I think those cars(Cutlass, Buick Century, Chevy Celebrity et al were a big contributor to GM's downfall. Read more

I was the proud owner of a brand new '78 T-Bird, the brother (sister?) to the Cougar. My wife at the time picked it 'cuz she liked the color. Unquestionably the worst car I ever owned. There are 2 new Dodge Nitros parked in my work parking lot, so I'm guessing the Las Vegas Dodge dealers are doing their work. I parked near one the other day and looked it over a little. It's not nearly as fugly as most of you seem to think. One of them is that horrible Gold Mist color or whatever they call it, that Read more

It was called the Isuzu Impulse http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isuzu_Imp… and the VW dealership I worked for sold them along with the butt-ugly sedan and the P'UP! The Impulse sold like crazy...the sedan and pickup with diesel power outsold the VW Rabbit, but I think they produced more volume than VW did in those day. Read more
