I still say they belong in the ocean. It’s a safe and legal thrill. Read more

I think for the Miata’s sake, they shouldn’t try to make it go full electric until really high density solid-state batteries are available. They should also try to match the weight of the current drive-train. Whatever that weighs plus a ¾ full gas tank is what all the electric drive-train components should weigh. If Read more

See #10, maybe we leave the Miata alone for a bit longer. When considering footprint, embedded energy, MPG, etc... The Miata does pretty well. Perhaps we shift our attention back toward trucks and SUVs Read more

What I truly want to point out is my alarm at just how little the rhetoric has changed. If you’re still making the same arguments to win people over, how far have you truly progressed? Read more

Love the car, and had no issues with the grill.  The improvement hasn’t made it worse, so that’s good.  I’ve wanted a Z for a really long time.  This might be the one to have... Read more

The “original” design had a bumper that bisected the upper and lower portions.

Here’s a prettier picture. Very easy to maintain weight distrobution. Can share a platform with an ICE drivetrain by designing the battery module & BMS to use the same attachment points and be the same physical size as the ice engine it replaces. Same with the rear subframe assembly, just make it bolt up in the same

Agreed. My Accord Sport came with 19s but I bought some 17" for winter duty. I like them so much I bought summer tires and am running them year round. They look better, ride better and you can feel an increase in acceleration with the smaller lighter wheels. Read more

I like the look of larger wheels, but from a commuting standpoint, which that’s what this car is designed for, they are pointless. I’d rather take the smaller size but larger tire. This is one car I’m actually considering.  Read more

Yeah, OK, fine. At least the Batmobile gets back to being an automobile for The Batman (the one with that vampire movie guy):

Don’t forget the garage scene in Batman Forever.

Don’t forget the classic Batman cars, which doubled up as Bruce Wayne’s ride and also Batmobile. And Gotham’s cops are really bad, because even with that they never made the connection.

That space suit is really out of this world.

Now playing

While I thoroughly love For All Mankind and their desire to be accurate in depicting accurate science and space technologies from bygone eras, I did find myself fully doubting Space Shuttles orbiting the moon in season 2.
