Brad, you’re killing me. I’m gonna cheat for now and say the N+1 is Norma’s G310R.

Haha Norman said something similar about the SRX when I said I couldn’t help myself. Read more
Oh, I’ve been. Austin’s great. I pulled the lead image from the AUS page on FB. The airport credits Brett Spangler (@atx.spotter) off IG.

Holy shit. She’s beautiful. Thanks, Hammerhead! I know you’ll usually be in the comments with worthwhile bits for anything off-road. And here’s the man himself. It was his birthday and he was still out there, just happy to hit the trails with us nerds! Legend.
I feel your pain! Nearest one to me is a three to four hour drive away. I usually make a daytrip of it. Read more
Whoa. Love a Scion. How did the seats manage to recline? I’ve never seen a rear seat recline in a hatch, but it sounds awesome. Read more
That’s right! Front has MacPherson struts like all other e36s, and the rear has semi-trailing arms like the e30s. The rear suspension is simple, but makes for a playful car that loves to slide. The main thing stopping it from being a handful, really, is how slow the car is! Read more
Glad I could inspire. Yes, Touring models are hard to come across and pricy. My vote is for you getting a ’ti, but fair warning: I am biased. Little bit.
The cargo space is a pleasant surprise! Since you’re familiar with the M42, the 318ti is right up your alley. Earlier models had that same engine, while later models… Read more
The possibility that Ikea has been quietly consulting with carmakers is pretty funny, yet plausible. I’m a fan of the Ivar shelves, mostly because the Billy doesn’t fit in either car we own. And all three of your wagons are awesome, but that Saab is exceptional! Read more

Huh. Yeah, it’s very possible something is off. I got a date with my fuel system, then. No big whoosh of air, but the gas smell is strong after a fill-up. My fuel pump died last year and I took it in to be replaced. I figured the shop failed to replace a gasket. Could be a sign! Read more
Agreed. Some cars are worse than others. My 318ti is not on good terms with their pumps. It’ll trigger the shutoff at least once or twice. Read more
Ah, good. Still, I’m happy that I’m not the only opposite-side pumper. Now can we get Costco to do something about those pumps? The ones where you have to hold the pressure just right or the nozzle shuts off because it thinks you’re overfilling? Read more
Oh, sorry! I meant opposite side of the car’s fuel door. My BMW’s is on the passenger/right side. My wife’s Acura is on the driver/left side. In her car, If I use certain lanes, I have to yank the line and hold it like with your 4Runner. Read more
I agree with DeWayne; you are not old or lame. A daily e46 is a dream on 16s. My e36 came with aftermarket 18s on low-pro tires that scraped at every turn. Went back to stock and, yeah, it didn’t look as cool, but the handling and ride improved. Read more
Urectum has a point about the need to be wearing something at all, but I’m at the local Starbucks so I’m wearing my Friday best: blue Nike sweats and white Blonded tee. Read more
