Really you think so? When I play GTA after playing other open world games like Just Cause 3 or Mafia or Saints Row the driving physics are appalling compared to GTA. It’s obviously no where near Forza or something specifically made for driving, but I think it does the job. Read more

I was 12 and it was 2001. My dad and I were driving his 1994 Volvo 850 wagon from NJ to CA and back over the whole summer. Was driving a track prepped Porsche 964 on the west side highway in Manhattan. The idle did this weird thing where it would dip really low after a blip for rev-matching, it did that, then stalled. Knowing that the sky plays such a huge factor on my reflections, I’ve been trying to only shoot at dawn or dusk. The highlights on the car are sooooo nice in that soft dawn/dusk light, I love it.

Nice. One other thing I like to do sometimes depending on the color of the car, play with white balance and saturation. A lot of times I end up de-saturating the blue hues that you get from bright blue skies, it can help bring more consistency to your overall image. Read more

In this kind of filtered light I like to use a circular polarizer. It helps show the true color of the car and cut through the distracting reflections.
