I left my car with FlightCar twice last year. I had a major issue with some of their security policies. When I came back to the airport (LAX) to pick up my car, they came to pick me up and bring me to their facility. At no point in the entire pick up process did they ask for my ID to ensure that I was the actual owner… Read more

After spending a four-hour flight next to a Coca-Cola executive trying to brush up against my boobs every time he moved, I'm ok with this. Read more
I know this is ages late in internet years, but as a former AirTran (now Southwest) employee, it was so heartwarming to scroll down the page and see my big little a. I had some great and not-so-great memories with the company, but in this industry you have to merge to survive, and Southwest is (and will be) better for… Read more

Crashes may be down but this year has still been pretty traumatic:
A couple of years ago I was running a project in Atlanta and went there every 2 weeks for about 6 months. Flew from Milwaukee to ATL - down and back in the same day. I'm currently sitting at TPA now. I was on this flight. I was also on Delta's final scheduled DC-9-51 flight in January and when this was announced I had to do this as well. I'm now employed by Delta so I'm standing by for the 5:20am flight back to ATL. I'm going to miss AirTran immensely. They've always held a… Read more
As a human who has traveled with United a handful of times, this actually seems much more humane than, say, forcing the dog to speak with a desk agent. Read more
Thanks Paul Thompson, I, for one, appreciate your gesture. Invariably there, more often than not, is at least one person that feels a need to invoke race. In this case it seems invocation of race was meant to be 'funny' as opposed to mean. The other side to that is African-Americans are more often than not the target… Read more
I've flown AirTran round trip a couple times and can honestly say that my experience was great. AirTran was basically a straight-to-the-point service and their planes seemed well-maintained to me. They didn't make customers pay for lists of unnecessary fees unless they needed to. I respected AirTran. Read more
So when this story first broke this am, no one had details, and every article I read about it jumped to the conclusion that because it was missing, it was hijacked. My thought was missing due to crash, but I digress... That's the kind of journalism that's ruining the whole profession. Authors jumping to conclusions to… Read more
