First car I owned was a relatively high mileage 1977 Chevette with a 4 speed manual. My dad tried teaching me to drive stick for about 2 weeks, then I ended up learning on a friend’s Pinto in about 2 hours in a parking lot. Read more
My aunt taught me how to drive stickshift in a parking lot, because the only car they let their kids and me drive was a standard 1991 Ford Ranger. I felt like I had learned enough, so I asked if I could drive it to the store the next day. Read more
