I couldn’t even begin to add up all the places the govt spends money on autos from the bailouts all the way down to the roads. Amtrak is a joke. Its never once been profitable since inception in 1971. The original plan projected to be at breakeven by 1974... Instead we continue to fund Amtrak hoping it might make money.
