I love stories like these. Here is a purple near worthless W203 with a bunch of ‘shady’ aftermarket labels and mods. Who wants this piece of... wait a minute. Oh, it was specially built for the former head of AMG and RENNTech North America? Nice. Not quick by today’s standards but awesome all the same.

Patrick nailed it. Straight up. Matrix/Vibe is usually my first recommendation. Since “the kids like Hondas”, Toyotas end up being a bit cheaper used.

One thing I will mention though is to also consider the Pontiac Vibe. Since it’s, “not a Toyota”, they are often a bit cheaper. But both the Matrix and the Vibe were Read more

The V6 in 380 hp guise is also the sweet spot in the F-Type range. I think the only reason for picking the SVR Jags (or the Range Rover equivalents) is if you like the extra attention (and by the sounds of it exponentially less comfort, although I don’t think that is so true for the RR and F-Type variants). F pace SVR breaking the 4th wall

And to think that Jaguar and Land Rover are replacing this V8 after something like 20 years. I’m definitely going to miss this stupid and inefficient, but fun V8. Especially the SVR variants, which sound so environmentally unfriendly that you’d half expect they run off harp seals and panda cubs. I hope they at least Read more

To me, the F-Pace is no-contest the best looking SUV available today. I’d even go as far as to say it looks “great”. Nothing domestic, German, Japanese, Italian (Stelvio almost tho) or from the other English companies holds a candle to it.
