Audi's Graphic Novel Is The Right Way To Show Off Design

A lot of design retrospectives are tedious books with tons of interesting information presented in a very uninteresting way. It's the antithesis of design. Audi has taken a different approach, and instead brought design to the design retrospective. Clever.

The 28 page graphic novel shows off Audi's long history in a more minimalist, Frank Miller-esque style, and it works.

Instead of the story of how 'quattro' was created, we get three men just saying 'quattro.' Sure, historians won't love it, but design fans will eat this up.
