First of all, yes, the 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo is every bit a real, fast, delightfully precise, surprisingly unforgiving, firecracker of a Porsche. Next question.
I just had the privilege of racking up about 500 miles on what’s unofficially the “enthusiast spec” of the new Macan SUV (crossover?) hatchback on steroids. It had the turbo engine, seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, 21” wheels wide enough to work as steamrollers, and basically no luxury options for an MSRP of around $80,000. Please recognize the gravity of this statement; it just might be worth that kind of money.
Now let’s hear everything you’re interested in about this car, I’ll try to answer your questions here and address them more thoroughly in the review.
