Artists Use iPhone Projectors To Make World's Tiniest Car Chase

You really can do anything with an iPhone. You may remember when some hipster band played iPhones instead of real instruments on the New York City subway a couple of years ago.

Now you can hook one up to a portable projector and create an alternate universe where cops in cruisers and missile launching helicopters are made fools of by an orange jumpsuited federal inmate fleeing in a bright red Ford GT.

Never mind that you can occasionally see the guy holding the projector running next to the car's image as it speeds down whatever drab corridor the scene was filmed in. It presents like a Hollywood action movie and turns dull surroundings into epic tiny movie sets. It reminded me of an updated, more exciting version of Gumby.
