An Oil Tanker Has Struck The San Francisco Bay Bridge (UPDATED)

An oil tanker has brushed against a support beam of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

The Coast guard is on the scene. The big concern is the possibility of an oil leak, but right now there is no evidence of one.

It sounds like it was foggy, which is nothing new for the area, but could also have contributed to the accident.

In 2007 an oil tanker hit the bridge and spilled 53,000 gallons of oil. Obviously, they don't want something like that to happen again.
