The second United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas is right around the corner. And Caterham F1 will be putting American Alexander Rossi in the car for the first free practice session.

Rossi has been Caterham's test and reserve driver for two years and also drives for the team in GP2.

He previously drove during a race weekend at practice for the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix and 2013 Canadian Grand Prix. This will also mark the first appearance of an American driver in F1 during the USGP at Austin.
