You're looking at a Belarusian, Soviet MAZ 500. The MAZ stands for Мінскі аўтамабільны завод, or Minsk Automobile Plant. Today it's one of Europe's largest truck manufacturers (apparently) and back in the '70s it made charmers like that airport truck above.
More than anything else, that looks like one sturdy truck. A truck for a hard winter. A truck that looks forward at hard times and says "I don't care — I am a truck."
