BMW will present its all-wheel-drive 5 Series models to the world in Detroit this January, along with new, more powerful in-line six motors. The luxo-wagons will be equipped with BMW s xDrive system and will be offered in 525xi, 530xi and 530xi sport wagon variations. A baseline 3.0-liter mill, producing 210 hp, will power the 525i and 525xi, while a more powerful 3.0-liter engine, offered in the 530i and 530xi models, will produce 255 hp. Snowplow and salt-spreader accessories are optional.
