All Together Now: The Getrag All-Wheel Drive Mini

Mini Cooper enthusiast blog, Motoring File offers more information on an upcoming all-wheel drive version of the already-too-much-fun Mini. We're thinking such a system, built by German tranny maker, Getrag, is overkill on the little go-kart. On a $20,000 Mini Cooper S, a four-drive system will likely choke the value proposition until it screams "thirty!" Add the $5,000, 200hp John Cooper Works package to that noise, and we're talking pre-owned M3/S4 prices. We like the Mini for its simplicity — any more of this asinine lily gilding and we may just go back to liking Toyotas.
