This car was at the same car show as that Freetown Police Pacer you featured a week or so ago. I took these the last weekend of July. Had I only known I was photographing the wrong car to submit to Jalopnik at the time. By the way, meant to get these to you a few weeks ago...
Anyway, about this car — the owner seemed unlikely for such a ride. He was a bald guy in his late 40's, who seemed put off by the questions about his wild ride I was prodding him with. Could he sense the mockery? What I did get out of him was that it got its paint & hydraulics in AZ, and that it has been a costly project.
Plus, y'know, it looks to us like a '75 El Camino, and of all of the post-'72 models, the '75 is our favorite for sentimental reasons.
