Cops in Littleton, Mass. have a new ride-along partner Donelan's Supermarkets. The locally-based grocer has splashed out $36k for a three-year spot on the rear quarter of one of the town's cruisers. You know, we get ads on buses. We get ads on taxis. But taxi drivers and bus pilots aren't supposed to act as disinterested parties. We think this is the beginning of a dangerous trend and that it should be stopped immediately; if the Donelans wanted to free up money for things like education, why didn't they just cater $36,000 worth of school lunches? This just makes everyone look bad.
