The boys and girls over at the calipers brand are opening a brand spankin' new design facility in Torrance, just up a bit from Jalopnik's West Coast Base of Operations in San Pedro. Needless to say, proximity to the Jalop was basically mandatory for the Japanese luxury automaker. Or it might have something to do with the fact that Honda's US R&D center is also in Torrance. We still believe Nissan's only moving away because they can't take the heat, though.
