Our mates at Carscoop bring to our attention this concept for a Smartamino, created for Auto Motor und Sport by California designer Mark Stehrenberger. The German mag asked the MSD artist to sketch a few examples of how the Smart brand — soon to debut in the states — could expand for the US market. Considering the Smart is generally too small for fatso Americans, Stehrenberger says an increase in length by one meter (that's like a yard) is in order, as is 4x4 crossover and pickup models. Damn, we're as predictable as a can of Vienna sausages when it comes to cars. Still, he can't be much of a designer — where's the hood scoop?
