There’s no greater joy than taking a race car out on normal roads. Your car has the power to instantly make someone’s day—well, except the person who calls the cops because it’s too loud. But hey, it’s street legal, right? Pro drifter Ryan Tuerck went out for the day in his hood-less Ferrari 458 V8-powered Toyota GT86 hoon-mobile, and it is wonderful.
See, this is a totally practical car! It can go out for breakfast, snacks and a good drift afterwards.
Of course, the cops that were called in to investigate the noise—because goodness knows, certain residents around Connecticut hate good sounds. Fortunately, the cops recognized Tuerck and actually wanted to experience the greatness of that wickedly loud 458 engine drive away. Ending the day at the lake and then Thompson Speedway for a rad drift session is much better than towing the good car home because a neighbor was annoyed by the sound of awesomeness.
Now I have to fix my good, obnoxious crapcan racing 944 because getting coffee in anything short of a race car is just not as fun.
