Yesterday's American Le Mans Series race at Virginia International raceway was a good one, but an especially terrifying crash between Eduardo Cisneros and Marco Holzer resulted in this insane footage. Luckily, no one was hurt.
The two were battling for supremacy coming down a long straight and just into the braking zone when they bashed together, sending both cars off and into the tire wall. Cisneros' car flips end over end multiple times, tumbling along until it finally comes to rest atop the tire barrier. Somehow, both drivers got out of their cars and manage to give the camera a big thumbs up as well. I guess that was fun.
Massive amount of respect to ESPN camera guy Rich White as well, who, when faced with the threat of imminent danger by two speeding and out of control heavy machines, stands his ground. Now that's what I call a journalist committed to his craft.
