This Amazing Full-Size Mercedes-Benz Is Made Entirely Out Of Wood

Five thousand Euros is a pretty great price for a 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing, even if it's a non-runner. Especially this one. Because none of the electricals work, and the tires can't hold air. But that's okay, because it's an incredible hand-carved actual-sized teak replica built by a German craftsman in Duisberg, Germany.

The Gullwing has working doors, a wildly detailed dash, and even a set of matching wooden luggage (presumably filled with hand-carved underpants and toiletries). The eBay page says the front wheels actually steer (perhaps the wheels even roll?) which will make getting it into your office of living room much easier. The seats appear to be real, so it should be a comfortable place to sit in and just enjoy all the teaky, gullwing goodness.

Sadly, it appears as if it's been sold, but it looks like some other vintage, colossal-sized car models are available from the same establishment, so don't give up those wooden car dreams! I bet it'd make a great boat, too.
