Watch a Falcon from down under do a very purple burnout

If you want to make yourself stand out in a sea of awesome burnouts, bolting a set of purple tires onto your 1972 Ford Falcon XA is a pretty awesome way to do it. That's exactly what Australian Gary Myers did at last week's Summernats held in Canberra.

The Summernats is the huge Australian car show that is trying "to establish burnouts as a legitimate motor sport." It's also where Steve Nogas received a lifetime ban for the actions surrounding his massive burnout last week. Luckily all Meyers got for putting on this awesome purple display was a resounding cheer of approval from the crowd.

The real question is where was Myers able find purple tires?
