Last year's menacing Audi R18 TDI Le Mans racer brought with it the radical addition of a closed roof. If spy photos from QuattroWorld are any indication, the next R18 might feature a diesel-hybrid power train.

Audi's 2011 season was mixed to say the least. They won the top spot at Le Mans but were otherwise only moderately successful in the World Endurance Championship. This year they aren't messing around. The new Audi R18 TDI (codenamed R18H) is expected to feature a hybrid, although that hasn't been confirmed.
