It's the most glaring omission for the Chevy Camaro options list: T-Tops. They're ridiculous and sorta vulgar and they leak and rattle, but they're so damn cool. Now Drop Top Customs is building some for the new Camaro. Rock on!
The project to build aftermarket mullet aerators is the result of overwhelming demand from Drop Top's customer base, so with saw in hand they've liberated two roof panels and opened up the top. They'll be reinforcing the body to recover lost rigidity and fabricating the prototype T-Tops from tinted lexan while maintaining the car's reverse-mohawk styling detail. They're also considering a run of carbon fiber lids as an update to the old idea. Get out the Poison cassettes because this is going to be awesome. [Drop Top Customs]
