Chinese vehicles may not be known for their safety or originality, but you can't fault them for their flexibility. A Chang'an breadvan hi-rail? Choo-Choo!
As opposed to most hi-rail road-rail vehicles, they didn't think it was necessary to spend the money modifying a truck to ride the rails and the road. This is purely a rail vehicle with a modified track sitting on rail wheels with a crappy red cattle guard on the front. It's sort of clever in a sad way, but not as sad as the guy in the picture who is tasked with dressing up in a full uniform to make sure no one gets run down by the, we're certain, super slow breadvan.
