So far, it's looking pretty in-line with the attractive A3 Sedan concept that was unveiled last year, and that's not a bad thing at all.

As Quattroworld notes, this is an important car for Audi in China as well as the U.S., the latter of which never really warmed up to the A3 hatchback. Here's what they say:

Our guess is that this car is in nearly production ready form and the Audi engineers are putting the finishing touches on the car before it's debuted sometime in 2013. We can expect a wide range of engine choices in the A3 sedan when it arrives in America including both TFSI and TDI. Based on this test cars exhaust we can guess it's either Audi's 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI engines. This tester is also wearing the larger Audi rotor style wheels that noticeably fill the wheel wells. This could be an S Line version of the upcoming car.

Who's excited about the A3 sedan?

Wtf Audi? Do you seriously need an A3 Sedan?! Whatever happened to having one car of each model? Now they make so damn many that they are competing with themselves just in their own model range. Can it really be profitable to build that many models?!

Same goes for every other stupid manufacturer that does the same thing.

Why don't they make a Coupé of the A3 aswell, or a hatchback of the A4, or an SUV of the A4! Yes because we haven't got nearly enough SUV's yet! I would mention more ludacris examples but im afraid they already built them...

Jesus Christ this world we live in today......
