Those Audi-loving fiends over at Quattroworld have posted the latest spy shots of the 2014 Audi A3 sedan as it runs through tests in Southern Europe. Those Audi-y headlamps are a dead giveaway.
So far, it's looking pretty in-line with the attractive A3 Sedan concept that was unveiled last year, and that's not a bad thing at all.
As Quattroworld notes, this is an important car for Audi in China as well as the U.S., the latter of which never really warmed up to the A3 hatchback. Here's what they say:
Our guess is that this car is in nearly production ready form and the Audi engineers are putting the finishing touches on the car before it's debuted sometime in 2013. We can expect a wide range of engine choices in the A3 sedan when it arrives in America including both TFSI and TDI. Based on this test cars exhaust we can guess it's either Audi's 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI engines. This tester is also wearing the larger Audi rotor style wheels that noticeably fill the wheel wells. This could be an S Line version of the upcoming car.
Who's excited about the A3 sedan?
