You like the Aston Martin Vanquish, but you hate having a roof over your head. You're in luck. Aston has a solution for you. Meet the Vanquish Volante.
So what do you get for your hard earned monies? Under the hood it's all Vanquish Coupe, which means 565 horsepower V12 attached to a six speed automatic running power out to the rear wheels.
On the outside, you have that same Vanquish look. But wait, it's missing a key structural element. It's something that we normally refer to as a "roof." In the case of the Vanquish, Aston Martin eschewed a fancy aluminum folding roof for a good old fashioned folding cloth one.
The top can go down at speeds up to 30 MPH and folds in just 14 seconds.
A folding soft top does mean that the Vanquish loses its coupe profile, which does make it appear a little weird out back. The particular car they photographed also might not have been the number one color combo for me, it almost appears like a tuner version of a Vanquish.
But the big plus is that without a roof, the Volante will let you constantly hear the best part of an Aston: That V12 bellow.
The Vanquish Volante will go on sale early next year, and it isn't cheap. Starting price for the V12 monster is $297,995. And even at that price, I bet they sell every one they get and more. Call now, operators are standing by.
