DISCUSSION
I have to admit, I don't get the hate for this vehicle.
It is a 425hp, rwd, american fullsize v8 sedan. Massively updated interior with soft-touch plastics. The last gen got great reviews for handling much smaller than it actually is. Tons of interior room. Rock-solid chassis, with a pretty good track record for reliability.
Now its getting the same transmission as the BMW 5 and 7 series, Audi Q7 and A8, VW Touareg, and Porsche Cayenne... and its just not good enough?
What would it take for Chrysler to put out in the $30k range to appease you? Based on this article... I would venture to guess that the hate stems from the badge alone.
