Despite sporting the same grille as the current model (fear not, that'll change), we're told this is the 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500. This tester's supposedly showing off a softer, more sensitive production-intent bumper.
Although a better-fitting grille's expected, GM's already softened the huge metal flares at the corners of the current Silverado HD's bumper, topping off the tippy-top portion with plastic from end to end. The inlet in the middle of the front bumper feeds air to the truck's transmission oil cooler and seems to be about a third larger than the current inlet.
