In a bid to win the hearts and minds of secretaries and poseurs, the 2011 Chevy Camaro V6 turns the pony car wars dial to 11 12 — with a new 2011 Ford Mustang V6-beating power rating of 312 HP.
High school girls and rental fleets everywhere were positively giddy when it was announced the 2011 ‘Stang would have 305 HP, one more than the 2010 Camaro. Now, with 312 HP, the ‘Maro makes seven more HP than the Ford. Of course, weighing 3,780 Lbs, the Chevy remains 327 lb heavier than the Mustang.
The Camaro's biggest problem isn't horsepower though, it's vision and not just out the windscreen either. Adjust the steering wheel to a low-enough position that you can reach it and it obscures the speedometer.
