The 2010 BMW Z4 has shed the clunky body cladding and slipped into a skin-tight psychoactive anti-spy wrap that's making our eyes go all cross. Maybe it's because it wanted to look good for some track-time on the Nürburgring. The reason for the change is unknown, but let's ignore the swirls for a moment, because with all the bulky covering now out of the way we can get a better picture of how the shape of the car is being exaggerated even further into a long-nose short-decked sports car. Also clearly apparent in this latest round of spy photos is the final shape and break lines on this new hardtop convertible version of the upcoming model. We're waiting with baited breath to get our grubby mitts on the twin turbocharged inline six model. [WorldCarFans]
