When you already own a 1969 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller wagon and you're the captain of the Dai Hard Charade 24 Hours Of LeMons team, a super-rare Rocky makes plenty of sense. The turquoise paint goes well with the fiberglass "fake rock" utility meter cover (foreground) used in the post-WW2 landfill parts of Alameda.

According to this Rocky's owner, top speed in low range and fifth gear is just 29 MPH, so it should be good for climbing 80% grades… which won't be found in completely flat Alameda.

Don't lose the oil cap on this thing. It is seriously not possible to replace it in the US. You have to find someone who can read japanese to order you one off of Japanese Yahoo auctions, and pay like 24 bucks shipping.

Do not ask me how I know this.
