The 1990s Bronco is, understandably, stuck very firmly in its reputation as OJ’s car and not much else. That shouldn’t be the case.
They’re simple, stout trucks, and workable platforms just like anything else of the period. Take this 1991 prerunner-gone-mad that jumps approximately 900 feet in the air on decades-old shocks, for example. Good truck:
It’s also aided by an LS swap with 8-into-1 headers, making it sound like it is constantly howling.
Would it be better if it was a Ramcharger? Probably. But it’s still neat.
