Occasionally, I am permitted to wander out from behind this computer screen and venture into the real world, where the rest of you and The Cars exist. Not as commenters behind usernames or mere photos of cars; real, living breathing people and machines to enjoy the company of. That’s where you can get into the actual culture of things.
Fresh from both our recent hurricane charity car show and Radwood 2, I got to meet so many cool and fun car people, just shooting the shit about a topic we all love. What could be better? And, furthermore, which car cultures are the most fun to be a part of?
I have a bunch of different answers for this question depending on my mood. But right now, I’m still thinking about that Volvo corner that turned up at our hurricane show in Newark. Those people were genuinely thrilled to see other Volvo enthusiasts and they had the best license plates.
