Last Saturday, the very best cars that the ‘80's and ‘90's had to offer descended upon The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, California, to attend Radwood 2. There was music, food, beer and great merch. Dogs and people decked out in their best ’80s and ’90s garb. It was incredible. You were all incredible.
Jalopnik chief test pilot Andrew Collins was kind enough to invite me to ride in his newly acquired $100 Nissan 300ZX with his lady Sydney. We pulled up to the show in the prowling Z like we had shot out through some wormhole from the ‘80s. Luckily, we were not alone.
The colors alone were worth the trip. Metallic purples, neon oranges, sea foam greens and sparkly fuschias flashed beneath the Southern California sun. These were cars that would never know the pain of rust or salt. I didn’t let the jealousy get the best of me, though. How could you, when so much happiness was abound?
You can see more bitchin’ pictures at #radwood, @radwoodofficial, here and here, but below are some that Team Jalopnik took as well. And as always, thanks to Team Radwood for putting this on and letting us get in on the action.
Until next time, friends!
