Why Jalopnik Readers Rule: Radwood Edition

We may earn a commission from links on this page.

We’ve been hyping the Radwood 2 show for weeks, and on Saturday our dreams of bringing the ’80s and ’90s back to the streets finally came to life. And because of all of you, it was excellent. Thank you.

If you came out to The Phoenix Club to help host this thing, share a car, sell stuff, or just soak up the atmosphere, we really appreciated having you. I’d also like to give a special shoutout to everyone who helped us pimp the show on Twitter, Instagram and everywhere else, and all of you who liked and shared images from the event to the rest of the world.

We also owe a huge, huge thanks to the organizers of the event, Art C, Brad and the guys from the Driving While Awesome!, Cammed & Tubbed and Clutchkick podcasts. They did an incredible job not just putting this on, but starting a cultural phenomenon that we’re proud to be a part of.

Did you miss Radwood 2 completely? No sweat! There are plenty of pictures you can scroll through on those social media channels I just mentioned (check out #Radwood and @radwoodofficial) and I’m sure a whole lot more will be coming out over the course of the week.

We shot a video tour of the whole show, hosted by Tom Selleck’s low-budget brother and a Michael Jackson understudy, which we’ll be sharing soon, too.

I’d like to personally thank everyone who said hello to me and my Jalop compatriots Patrick George, Kristen Lee, Jason Torchinsky, Adam Milt, Raymond Cinemato, Victor Jeffreys and Alex Hevesy who were also on the scene. You guys are why we do what we do!

Now I’ll selfishly conclude with a solicitation for pictures of my Z31. I know I saw a lot of lenses pointed at it... I want to see your high-res pictures of my pin stripes! Just kidding. (No I’m not.)

But for real: the comment section here would be great place to share your pictures or Instagram pages if you’ve got some goodies from Radwood 2 so we can work up a primo gallery later. If you do decide to share, please let us know if we could use your picture in a gallery post later.

Thanks again, and see you on the next one.
