Who Is Foolhardy Enough To Spend $48,000 On A Bentley From A Used Auto Lot?

I was hunting down some cheap trucks for a client in Florida when I came across this appropriately-colored Bentley Continental for a fairly reasonable $48,000. But who in their right mind would buy a Bentley from a dealer who mostly peddles $2,000 beaters?

Please explain to me the thought process of a buyer, who is probably looking for some reasonably-priced mode of transportation and thus scouring the listings at an establishment called Southern Country Auto Sales, when they spot this bad boy. Do they just decide to throw caution to the wind and blow their life savings on a Bentley? I’m so confused.

You there! With the champagne tastes on the domestic beer salary, what you need is this dollar bill-colored Bentley to replace your boring, ordinary car. Sure you’ll end up spending a mint on the upkeep and maintenance alone, but what of it? You have the courage to dive into ownership of a well-depreciated Continental GT from a Florida used car lot. Lucky you, because it’s definitely a gamble that is too rich for my blood.
