This is Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s new 2016 Ford Mustang RTR Formula Drift car. It has 900 horsepower, an independent rear end, and it likes to hit the three wheel motion.
My understanding of suspension setup is pretty poor. I can sort of understand stiff versus soft in the front versus the rear, but once people start talking geometry and roll centers, my eyes fog over.
If you would like to forward a theory as to what is going on with the suspension setup with this car that makes it hang its inside front wheel like it’s reaching out for a high five, please go ahead.
