I know Christmas is still a while away, but I kind of want this LEGO Caterham 620R. Like, really really kind of want it.
This is the shrunk down model of the already very small and lightweight Caterham 620R, which has 310 supercharged horses and will hit 62 MPH from a standstill in 2.8 seconds. For £69 (about $91), you get to assemble 770 pieces into a 620R LEGO model that’s 10 cm tall and 28 cm long.
It has a removable nose cone and engine cover, a steering wheel, a trunk that opens and functioning axle stands for when you take the tiny, tiny wheels off.
It exists today because fan Carl Greatrix submitted the idea and design to the LEGO Ideas platform and got the necessary 10,000 votes for the LEGO team to make it happen.
It’ll be available in stores by October 1.
Check out that tiny shifter. And teeny weeny gauge cluster.
Adorbs.
