Videos Show Chaotic Aftermath Of Crash That Split Lamborghini Huracan In Half

Following a collision with another car at a Chicago intersection, a Lamborghini Huracan reportedly slid into a pole and split in half. Videos from the aftermath of the crash show not only the car strewn across the street, but also bystanders extracting a person from inside right before it caught fire.

According to NBC 5 Chicago, Chicago Fire Department officials said the two-car crash occurred at around 4 p.m. ET on Saturday and one person involved went to the hospital. NBC 5 reported that the victim’s age and condition “were not immediately available.”

Available are videos of the collision’s aftermath, including one that shows five men pulling someone from the car just seconds before it burst into flames:

Witnesses told NBC 5 that the Lamborghini was hit in the incident, and the collision sent it toward a pole on the side of the street. One of the men who helped extract the person from the Lamborghini was Andre King, according to NBC 5, and he said the driver was conscious upon being taken away in an ambulance.

Shortly after the event, NBC 5 reported that there was no further information about the cause of the wreck. There has yet to be an update to the original story, and the investigation was ongoing at the time of publishing on Saturday.
